Matthews’ Sycamore Commons shopping center continues its annual free, live music concert series this week.
The fifth annual Summer Concert Series runs from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays in the courtyard. Sycamore Commons is located off Matthews Township Parkway between U.S. 74 and Northeast Parkway.
The concert schedule includes:
• Aug. 16, Mike Strauss Band (country blues)
• Aug. 23, Donna Duncan and Detour (blues rock)
• Aug. 30, James Deem and The Rebers (pop rock)
