Mr. Randall,

Thank you. You are completely right in your response. I too believe that the citizens of Matthews are not informed about the leadership of Matthews. I have personally learned how citizens are treated. You put your trust in these people only too learn that they do not care. Oh, the story I could tell you. I did not vote this past election because in my opinion there was no one to vote for and my time is important to me. Please check out the "Technology Allowance Policy" this is where the leadership allows themselves an allowance every two years for new computer, internet service, cell phones and phone service all paid for by the citizens of Matthews.

“The level of performance is in direct correlation with the leadership,”

?????

Whose leadership, school or parental? It is a proven fact that student performance is a direct result of PARENTAL leadership.

Look at the Rocky River HS arrests reported in your paper for Jan 5 & 6. Six RR students arrested for destruction of school property and larceny. Where did the school leadership fail there?

The 2 boys that enjoy filming other boys undressing had nothing to do with school leadership.

The problem is clearly with the student population, not school leadership.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Although I don't work for CDS, I can tell you the people there are FAR from sick or cruel.

Be careful what you wish for. We were 'annexed' into Charlotte six months after we moved here 14 years ago. Our trash pickup was halved... Charlotte water (C-MUD) is un-drinkable, we are absolutely LESS safe, and our property tax immediately tripled. Since then the property taxes have almost doubled and we are awaiting this year's double hit... upwards valuation added to an increase in rate. It is my opinion that my wife and I have not become a five hundred percent greater burden to the City of Charlotte. The City seems to believe otherwise!
