Area residents who complete an online survey about the Town of Matthews by Dec. 2 could win gift certificates to local restaurants, tickets to the Matthews Playhouse and town merchandise.
Residents can take the survey at www.matthewsnc.com. Those participating will remain anonymous, but the town requires an e-mail address to award prizes. Participants don’t have to live in Matthews to take the survey.
The survey asks residents for their opinions about the town, town services, functions and staff. An independent research firm, led by University of North Carolina at Charlotte Professor Paul Friday, will oversee the process of collecting, analyzing and reporting the survey results.
Matthews conducts a resident survey every two years.
