Mint Hill officials are crafting a resident survey and need your help.
The town will host a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Independence High School, 1967 Patriot Drive, to get citizen suggestions for questions to add to a survey about the proposed Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
The survey was prompted by resident outcry this summer over the proposal, which some residents worry would put high density housing and retail too close to single-family neighborhoods.
The online survey should be complete by early 2011, Town Manager Brian Welch said.
Residents can look at the proposed plan at the town’s website, www.minthill.com. Click “2010 Land Use Plan.”
