In response to “Bye, bye bridge?” in the Feb. 18-24 issue of Matthews-Mint Hill Weekly.
Morgan Run is a beautiful all-brick, single-family neighborhood with a lighted stone entrance and more common areas than usual to be maintained by a small 48-home homeowners’ association.
It is not the fault of Morgan Run residents that the bridge was not built to code by the developer. If the Morgan Run homeowners want the bridge, they should be able to keep the bridge, and it should be brought to code, by the developer, as required by the Town of Mint Hill.
