Matthews

• Carmel Baptist Church, 1145 Pineville-Matthews Road. Christmas Eve services: 2, 3:30 and 5 p.m. Childcare will be provided for children 4 and younger. Christmas Day service: 11 a.m.

• Wilson Grove Baptist Church, 6624 Wilgrove-Mint Hill Road. Christmas Eve services: children are encouraged to bring canned food to the “White Gift” family service at 7 p.m., donated food will go to area residents in need; 11 p.m. candlelight service. Christmas Day services: 10 a.m.
