Awaiting service at the Matthews Post Office, a lady in line commented on the friendly staff.
“I live in Weddington,” she said. “But I drive here, they are all so accommodating and friendly.”
Got me thinking, how true.
Counter staff Mike, Stephen, Brian, Patricia — among names that come to mind — always make time for a little friendly banter, question how’s life and share a joke. Those personal touches make any trip there to buy stamps or send a package an enjoyable chore.
Good customer service is always noted and appreciated. Lesser institutions could take a lesson from the counter crew at Matthews United States Postal Service office.
