CHARLOTTE – The Charlotte Hounds will open the Major League Lacrosse season on the road June 2 against the Dallas Rattlers and return home the following week to host the Boston Cannons on June 8.
After traveling to Ohio in Week 3, the Hounds will prep for a two-week home stand in Weeks 4 and 5 that will include visits from reigning MLL champions Denver Outlaws and Atlanta Blaze.
Charlotte will host three games through July and August before finishing the season with two games in three days on Sept. 13 and 15.Visit www.charlottehounds.com for details.
MLL’s 2019 schedule includes many changes, including a season start date after Memorial Day and an emphasis on playing weekend games. Also, each team will play each other twice.
MLL will continue partnerships with ESPN and Lax Sports Network to air games.
ESPN, via its ESPN+ service, will feature a Game of the Week. The league’s All-Star Game, taking place July 27, will be broadcast on ESPN2, while the Championship on Sept. 29 will be shown on ESPNEWS.
