MATTHEWS – The Matthews Heritage Museum is displaying a collection of early to mid-20th century decorations, including Santas, sleighs, postcards, Christmas cards, books, and family ornaments.
Many of the ornaments come from Germany. Visitors will be able to see the difference in early 1920s and 1930s ornaments and those from the 1940s and 1950s.
The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday to Saturday until Jan. 19, 2019 (except Nov. 22 and Dec. 27, 28 and 29), at 232 N. Trade St. There is a small entrance fee.
