MATTHEWS – Employees with the Matthews Post Office and Ballantyne 28270 Annex, the Matthews Postal Customer Advisory Council and numerous volunteers joined others across the country May 11 for the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
More than 15,000 pounds of food was collected and distributed to 13 food pantries in the greater Matthews area. These food pantries will be able to provide assistance to struggling families for weeks and months to come.
