CHARLOTTE – Rachel Hunt said she remains humbled and honored after a recount of the House District 103 race declared her a winner over incumbent Bill Brawley by 68 votes.
“I look forward to being their voice in the legislature and fighting to reinvest in our public schools, raise teacher pay and make healthcare more affordable and accessible,” Hunt said. “My continued thanks to all the family, friends, supporters and volunteers who made this campaign possible. This race was about improving our communities for every person, and I am excited to get to work for all of you.”
