MATTHEWS – Novant Health Matthews Medical Center displayed 58 creatively decorated Christmas trees in a fundraiser to help local charities.
The Festival of Trees on Nov. 15 featured live holiday music, hot cocoa, treats, raffles and a visit from Santa Claus. But trees served as the stars of the show.
Some trees were donated to a silent auction. Visitors will have the opportunity to bid for a chance to take home one of them through Dec. 3. Proceeds from the auction of those donated trees will benefit charities.
Trees will remain on display at the hospital for the public to view until Dec. 16.
