MINT HILL – The Alzheimer’s Association – Western Carolina Chapter is hosting two educational workshops at Blair Road United Methodist Church, 9135 Blair Road.
“Navigating a Dementia Diagnosis: What Now? What Next?” will take place Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon. This program covers effective strategies for coping with daily challenges. Register at https://tinyurl.com/MintHillSept21.
“Navigating a Dementia Diagnosis: What’s Your Plan? Who’s on Your Team?” will take place Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to noon. This program includes a panel of experts that will cover important things to plan after a diagnosis and services available for individuals and their families. The free two-part workshop is open to people with a recent diagnosis or in the early stages of Alzheimer’s and related dementia diseases, their families and care-partners.
