MOOYAH celebrates BOGO Burger Week
PLANO, Texas – MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes is gearing up to satisfy the taste buds of burger enthusiasts with BOGO Burger Week 2019.
From Oct. 7 to 13, guests are invited to buy any burger and get one free of equal or lesser value with the purchase of shareable fries. Each day of the week, MOOYAH Rewards App members will receive a new BOGO offer in their inbox.

Drifter visits Pep Boys
MATTHEWS – Professional drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. visited Pep Boys to award a customized 2019 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 2 to a sweepstakes winner during a car show.
David Myers, who serves in the Army, won the Mustang and a $1,000 Pep Boys prepaid gift card.
The car show included an autograph session with Gitton, as well as food trucks and giveaways.
Summit explains business in Matthews
MATTHEWS – The Matthews Economic Development Advisory Committee presents a business summit this week aimed at current owners or those thinking about launching a company in town.
Peter Zeiler, director of the Mecklenburg County Office of Economic Development, as well as representatives of SCORE, Small Business Administration, CPCC’s Small Business Center and Matthews Chamber of Commerce will participate.
Registration has closed for the Oct. 11 event.
Chelsea Building Group introduces Kale Mills community

Metro Diner extends round-up campaign
MATTHEWS – Metro Diner extended its round-up campaign for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation from Sept. 30 to Oct. 6 after receiving an outpouring of support.
Guests at all diner locations could round their checks up to the nearest dollar to be donated. They could also choose to donate $1, $2, $5 or a custom amount. Money will go toward clinical trials and drugs that focus on childhood cancers.
“Metro Diner is honored to be able to raise awareness for an organization that is making huge strides and uncovering new developments to treat these devastating illnesses,” Crafton Bryant, marketing director said.
