CHARLOTTE – The Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services will host the Scam Jam information session that explores financial fraud and exploitation.
Participants will receive valuable information on investment, Medicare fraud and identity theft.
Event speakers will represent agencies including the NC Attorney General’s Office, the NC Secretary of State, Centralina Area Agency on Aging and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
The session spans from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov.18 at the Valerie C. Woodard Conference Center, 3205 Freedom Drive, Suite 4000. Space is limited. Call 980-314-6800 or email SFAevent@MecklenburgCountyNC.gov to register by Nov. 4.
