CHARLOTTE – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Continuum of Care governing board is looking for members to help coordinate and lead the county’s effort to end homelessness and expand affordable housing.
Since August, Mecklenburg County Community Support Services has engaged the community to develop a vision to guide the board’s efforts.
The work is designed to promote communitywide commitment to the goal of ending and preventing homelessness as well as providing funding, oversight, planning and evaluation of housing-related services.
Organizations and individuals who work with the homeless and those needing affordable housing can apply.
Visit http://bit.ly/CharMeckCoC for details about how to apply for the open seats. Dec. 4 is the deadline for submitting applications.
